If there’s one thing I know for sure it’s that I have to love myself and be grateful.
A book that was instrumental in helping me to realise that is You Can Heal Your Life by Louise Hay. It’s a book that has taught me how to restructure my life, develop my self esteem and build up my self love. It’s one of those books that you keep on your shelf and refer to time and time again. Each chapter opens with an affirmation, which is good to use when you are working on that specific area of your life.
Here’s an excellent example of Hay’s affirmations:
“In the infinity of life where I am, all is perfect, whole and complete and yet life is ever changing. There is no beginning and no end only a constant cycling and recycling of substance and experiences. Life is never stuck or static or stale for each moment is ever new and fresh. I rejoice in the knowledge that I have the power of my own mind to use it in the way I choose. Every moment of life is a new beginning point as we move from the old. This moment is a new point of beginning for me right here and now. All is well in my world.”
